Befekadu Mengesha
Befekadu Debebe is a PhD candidate at the department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering , at University of Turin (Politecnico di Torino) , where he also received his Masters of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering with specialization on fiber optics communication and He received his bachelor of sceince degree in Electrical Engineering from Hawassa University . Currently Befekadu is working on "Innovative radio over fiber technologies for front-hauling” with the Optical Communication (OptCom) research group.
Befekadu Debebe was born in Addis Ababa Ethiopia on the 29th October 1986. He received his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (with distinction) from Hawassa University, Ethiopia in 2008. He has worked in Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation at the department of high voltage substation transmission line construction engineering from 2009 up to 2013. Befekadu enrolled as a Masters student in the field of telecommunication Engineering (fiber OPtics) in September 2013 and graduated in October 2015 with final grade 110/110 from Politecnico di Torino .
Currently , Befekadu is working as a PhD student in Fiber Optical Communication Engineering field at Politecnico di Torino.
