Ihtesham Khan

Ihtesham Khan was born in Peshawar, Pakistan, on the 27th December 1989. He received the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in the academic year 2014. In 2014 Ihtesham enrolled in the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at National University of Sciences & Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has also been worked as Transmission Engineer at Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) from March 2015 until May 2016. In 2017, Ihtesham received Master degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Communication and  Networks. In March 2018, he joined the OptCom group of Politecnico di Torino as a researcher and working on Multi-layer Orchestration of Optical networks (MOON) project.

Ihtesham Khan is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy from November 2018 . His research mainly focus on the optimization of Optical Transmission Systems  with  Machine Learning Techniques and their study in a elastic optical network context.
