Dario Pilori
Dario Pilori is a post-doctoral researcher
Dario Pilori was born in Varese (VA) in 1990. He received his Bachelor of Science (2012) and Master of Science (2015) in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, both cum Laude.Between October 2013 and October 2014, August 2015 and October 2015 he was an intern in the Optical Transmission Systems research group, Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ, USA, where he worked in advanced Digital Signal Processing for optical communications under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian Randel. On March 2019 he got his PhD (cum Laude) in Electric, Electronic and Communication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. His research interests are data-center optical links with direct detection, and advanced modulation formats for long-haul coherent optical links.
