Kick-off meeting of the new PhotoNext center

PhotoNext is the POLITO Inter-Dipartimental Centers for Photonic technologies, focused on experimental and applied research in three key areas: optical fiber ultra-high speed communication systems, optical sensors and optical components for industrial applications.

Politecnico di Torino with the OptCom members Vittorio Curri, Mattia Cantono and Alessio Ferrari is the first academic institution that has been actively involved in the Telecom Infra Project: a consortium of network operators and technology companies that aims at the deployment of open network equipment and infrastuctures.
